Austin’s practice focuses upon the defense of personal injury and wrongful death claims in the areas of aviation, premises liability, products liability and trucking and transportation. He has represented a variety of clients in such matters, including national retailers and national transportation companies. Austin regularly defends cases in both state and federal courts throughout the country.
Although Austin’s primary practice involves personal injury and wrongful death defense, he also maintains a practice in the areas of business and commercial law as well as estate planning. He has experience dealing with contract disputes, business torts, noncompete agreements, construction law, and residential and commercial landlord-tenant law. Austin has advised numerous clients through all stages of corporate planning, formation and governance. He also assists clients with estate planning, including the preparation of wills, trusts, beneficiary designations, powers of attorney and other devices designed to protect a client’s assets.
